Interview Draft

Ideas:     The goals we have when pertaining to the interviewing process behind the Lexington Market is to gain the thoughts of the everyday Market goer. We want the thoughts of the new residents that have moved to the area and who the "new" Market is suppose to be designed for, but we want to see how and who it will affect. The main focus of the questions is if the current Market goers know about the change and their opinions about the change.

The podcast will give the viewers the voice of the developers changing the Market, the Vendors in the Market and the people on the streets that visit the Market on a daily basis. The zine we want to create is going to give a background of the Market, and then the plan of how the Market is to change. The goals we have formed are to explain the importance of the Lexington Market, and what it is to Baltimore. Also, what "changes" are wanting to be made to the Market, and who are they really designing the Market for?

Most of the question's or ideas swarming around this project are still in the draft stage, the only thing we are certain about is why the drastic change on the Market. Who are they really making the Market change for? Who is it going to really benefit?

  1. Nice start. You begin with the purpose of the interviews. For the next draft, add 10-12 sample questions that you think we could ask to get to the theme and issues. You also need to add a brief intro on the purpose of the zine... it is early but we can develop further. We should also start to come up with a list of people to interview... this should come from the Sun articles you read, the discussion with Stacey Pack, and the course readings.
